RoadHoG

RoadHog

The next batch of training is taking place at Trinity Church on:

Monday 13th September at 7.30pm

Monday 27th September at 7.30pm

Monday 4th October at 7.30pm

We need as many trained people as possible to take part in this important youth mission work. Please prayerfully consider if this is something God is calling you to do.

The RoadHog bus itself will be welcomed to Zion on Sunday 26th September with a retiring collection the following week.

HOW TO KEEP ROADHOG ON THE ROAD…

It has been amazing to see how God has provided enough finances to purchase and build a double decker bus. Those years of expectancy coming together was an incredible experience. The bus has now been on the road 8 months, but over the past few months, roadHoG has experienced a dip in donations from supporters. Maybe you are a parent and your child enjoys the experience of roadHoG. Maybe you are a local Christian concerned about young people on the streets. Whoever you are, one of the important ways of keeping the roadHoG Bus on the road is by the donation of bus tickets by supporters. Every time a supporter donates a bus ticket, it means the bus can reach one young person that month. Each ticket costs £5 and can be donated via the post or online. 57 tickets are regularly donated by supporters. If you would like to help us reach our target of 100 tickets being regularly donated by September this year then see John or go to the website at www.roadhogbus.org.uk for more information.

Harvest Festival / Back To Church Sunday

19th September

As announced last Sunday, there will unfortunately be no Harvest Supper this year, but a 'bring and share' lunch is planned to follow the 'Harvest Festival' on Sunday 19th September, which, for Zion, is also 'Back to Church Sunday'. Plans are being made for many people to be invited to come 'back to church' on that day and as part of making the church as welcoming as possible it is hoped that we can lay on a really special lunch. Please think about what food you might be able to bring along and whether you could help with the organisation of the lunch. A list has been placed at the main entrance to the church, so that you can register the help that you are able to offer.

Many thanks.
